The Early Days

Every great dream, business, corporation, church, or movement have at least this one thing in common, "The Early Days". The early days is a vital part of every great story. Some would say, that the early days will make you or break you. I say, the early days break you then make you. As tempting as it may be do not despise the early days. The early days is the main ingredient for success and successful people. It is out of these days that average men and women evolve into great men and women. It is a season of defining and shaping, breaking down and building up and a season of testing. Exactly what are the early days? The early days are simply.......... The humble beginnings of every dream. The days when you question  God, the dream giver. Days when you feel like your failing miserably. Days that you question yourself and your ability to accomplish the dream God is calling you to. Days when you have no idea how your going to pay the bills. Days when you feel like the worlds biggest looser. Days when you feel like an idiot for chasing such a rediculous dream. Days when you feel like your family is paying the high price for your dream. Days when you feel lonely very lonely. Days when there is no earthly evidence that your in the will of God. Days when you feel like packing up your bags, throwing in the towel of defeat and abandoning the dream. Days when you have to close your eyes just to see the reality of your dream comming to pass. Days when you question everything. Days when you recount over and over  the cost of your dream. Days when you sit on the edge of your bed holding your head between your hands having no idea what to do next. Days when feel like you flat out missed it. Then comes a day in the early days that you finally surrender your dream realizing that it is humanly impossible for you to accomplish this great task that God has called you to. This realization is the point of the early days, God breaking you, then making you. Understanding that only through Him all things are possible. The question really is, can God trust you with the little? The only way you can answer this question is by simply graduating from the early days. Do not allow your dream to become another casualty to the early days. Let God break you and then watch Him make you into that great man or woman of God that He created you to be! Oh yah, If your a dreamer this process will repeat itself over and over becomming a lifestyle.
