14 Years!!!!!

14 years ago today I married the love of my life! To say God Knew what He was doing when He blessed me with Laurie is the understatement of a life time. We started dating when we were 16. I remember the first time I saw Laurie. I was actually on another date with someone else. She was best friends with my cousin who was on a date with my best friend with me and that other young lady. It was Laurie's B-Day and my cousin wanted to stop by her house after the movie we went to see to wish her friend Laurie happy b-day. While I waited in the car I saw the most beautiful young lady I have ever seen! My heart was pounding and my eyes were doing flips. I had to meet her so I excused myself from the date I was on and jumped out of the car to introduce myself. Well, needless to say the date I was on ended rather abruptly, and the rest as they say is history. That was the start of the ride of a lifetime. Man it seems like yesterday when we first met. We were just two kids discovering life together. 

Laurie is my hero because..............She has sacrificed more than anyone I know for the kingdom of God. She has paid a tremendous price for our vision. She loves her family! She is the best mother to our three kids, man they are so blessed to have her! She is the best wife a man could possibly have! She's the strongest woman that I know! She loves people more than she loves her self. She always puts others first. She has taught me how to be content and enjoy life and how to appreciate the important things in life. Her passion for Jesus is contagious. She loves God even in the toughest of times and believe me we have a tough time or two. She is a prayer warrior, she knows GOD! She is a great leader, I would follow her anywhere because I trust her discernment. I trust her ability to hear the voice of God.

I am forever indebted to my girl. I am more in love with her today than I was 14 years ago. She is my soul mate, lover and friend. I am a blessed man. Laurie Thanks for just being you, don't stop!
